HOW TO FIX A DENT

Hi again, another question I get is ” how can I fix a dent in my floor?” Well I have two fixes for you. First off, if it just happened you can use water and a paper towel. Pour some water on the dent, let it sit there for a few minutes then wipe up the water. If the dent goes away you’re done. If it gets smaller repeat the proce untill it goes away. If it did not change after the first try, then try an iron and a towel. place the towel over the area, use a hot iron with steam and go over the area for a few minutes. Again if the dents go away you’re done, if it gets smaller repeat until it’s gone, if after the first try there is no change then try option two. With this option you will need some floor putty in a color that is the same color or a little darker than the floor. You can buy the putty at a hardware or big box store. Take the putty and rub it into the dent, if it will not stay in the dent, take a nail punch and make the dent deeper so the putty will stay in. Once the putty dries it will not come out, and will look like a knot in the wood.
